Butter Cookies

  • 1/2 cup unsalted Butter – at toom temperature
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup White Flour
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder

Preheat oven at 350 deg F.

Beat the butter with the sugar in a medium sized bowl. Add the egg and vanilla, and beat until you get a uniform texture.

Mix the flour and baking powder and gradually blend them into the mixture. When you’re done, you should have a rather sticky dough.

Shape the dough into balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Roll them in sugar and place them on an ungreased cookie sheet,  leaving about an inch of space between each cookie. This is to ensure they don’t stick together they they expand.

Bake in preheated oven at 350 deg F for 20 minutes.

Remove from oven, let cool for a while, and start eating right away! 🙂

Easy-Peasy Cookies

  • 1 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 large Egg

Beat the egg.

Mix all ingredients together.

Preheat the oven to 325 deg F.

Place blobs of cookie dough on a greased cookie sheet in the sizes you like, and flatten with a fork; you can make nice patterns on it.

Put in oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.

*They’ll turn out just a little bit moist, but are yummy.

*Don’t over-bake them just because they’re moist, they won’t taste good when they’re burnt.
